Alex Hills represented the ISA Midlands in an under 16 representative football match against a strong XI from the North on October 14th. It was a special match for Alex as he was made Captain for the day. This was the second match between the two areas and after the Midlands inaugural win last year, it was the turn of the North to finish as clear winners this time with a 5-0 victory. The score did not reflect a closely competed match however. The game started brightly with both sides having chances. The Northhad the clearer opportunities and gave the Midlands goalkeeper a chance to demonstrate his skills. By half time the North had taken a commanding 3-0 lead and although the Midlands worked hard again in the second half, they never really developeda cutting edge up front to trouble the defence. Both sides are expected to have at least one more game against against local opposition before a return fixture in the North next term. |

Elliot was chosen to play rugby during half time at the Six Ways Worcester Rugby Club on Thursday 8th October along with his team mates in the under 8's rugby team based at Droitwich Rugby Club.
It was a big event which saw Worcester Warriers play Montpellier in the European Cup where thousands were expected. Elliot and his team played during half time which was a big opportunity for him to experience what it must be like to play in such a large state of the art sports stadium.
