NSEA Inter – Schools Midland Regional Show Jumping Qualifier
Early in March Emily Brown travelled to Onley Grounds Equestrian Complex in Rugby with her five year old mare, Maggie May X to jump in the Midland Regional qualifier. Having jumped a clear round, she qualified for the metre jump off and, going second, aimed to set a time which would push the rest of the class. This she certainly did, leaving her and Maggie May feeling very pleased with themselves. She could hardly bear to watch as other competitors came close to her time. However, in the end they won and qualified for the NSEA National Championships in December at Addington. This time Emily was the only competitor representing Heathfield but hopes to get a team together to qualify in April. Watch this space! |
