HOLIDAY WORK: This has been set for Forms S2 and S5 in all subjects. GCSE: It is important that all S5 pupils view the Easter holiday as a study break
EXAMINATION INFORMATION: KEY STAGE 2 SATS - FORMS J6B AND J6H
Week beginning Monday 10th May:
J6 are well aware of the implications of these formal National tests in Mathematics and English and are well prepared for them accordingly. It is important that pupils are not made uneasy in any way so although the pupils have been well prepared for these tests, they happen as part of the day to day activities. It is very important that parents do not make a fuss about these tests as this can do an enormous amount of harm. Please note that no re-arrangement of these dates is possible. J6 have been set revision work for the holiday.

CRICKET: Boys who wear spectacles are advised to have plastic lenses for cricket. Boys over eleven years should wear an abdominal protector for batting and wicket keeping. Boys need not have cricket boots. White training shoes would be adequate. No boy needs to bring cricket equipment but keen players are encouraged to do so. Please ensure that everything is clearly named. Cricket sweaters trimmed with the school colours are available from Matron. Cricket helmets will be provided by the school for batsmen and wicket keepers – keen cricketers may like to have their own. It is a mandatory requirement to wear helmets at Heathfield.
