Parents Association

Heathfield School Parents Association is a committee comprising parents and school staff. The main aim of the committee is fund raising for the benefit of school, and of course, the children.

The committee usually meet once a month to discuss the planning of fund raising events and to consider the best use of the money already in the bank. We have in the past raised funds to purchase flood lighting on the tennis court, smart boards and a deposit for the new school mini bus, plus numerous smaller projects throughout school. Last year we donated money to each year group, the staff and children then decided what they would like to purchase. We already have plans in place for some events this year, and some exciting new adventures too, so please watch this space for news and updates.

New members are very welcome, but if you don't want to join the committee then practical help is always needed at each event and an hour of your time would be enough to make a difference. If you can manage the complexities of a bent gazebo or have the gift in unravelling Christmas fairy lights we would love to hear from you.

We are always looking for new ideas, so if you have a suggestion, please contact me at heathfield.parents@gmail.com or drop into one of our meetings. We encourage you to feed back to us what was good (and not so good), so drop us a line. We can also be contacted through Reception.

Please support the events in any way that you can, and remember that all funds raised are for the benefit of the children in the school.

Kindest regards
Sarah Burns (Chair)
