Let us introduce you to the members of staff who care for the very youngest children at Heathfield School and Day Nursery.
Teresa Stooksbury is the Early Years Supervisor and has overall responsibility for the under fives. She moves between the day nursery, pre-school and reception class and helps to prepare the very youngest for their life in the Main School.
Jane Rowles has been at Heathfield School since 1983 when the day nursery was first opened. She now helps care for some of the children of parents who originally came to the day nursery themselves.
Sue Sidaway started working in the pre-school section of the day nursery while two of her three sons were still at Heathfield School. She, like Jane and Teresa, has experience as a parent as well as a member of staff, which adds a relevant dimension to the care she gives.
Laura Parkes enjoys sharing her time working with mixed age groups in the Pre-School section. As the children grow older, Laura is able to help them develop and learn different skills.
Louise Crowe, like Laura, works with the younger and older children in the Pre-School section. She is able to offer lots of stimulating activities for them to enjoy while still providing the continuity of a familiar face.
Vicky Steward is the Manager of Heathfield Day Nursery. Vicky began her career as a student in our Pre- School and now ensures that the babies and toddlers enjoy a safe, secure and fun environment.
Dianne King is always to be found in the baby room. A key worker, she is a source of reassurance to the very youngest children.
Laura Wharton is also a key worker with responsibility for the babies. Parents know that Laura understands their child's needs and that the little ones will be well cared for and happy.
Lynsey Edwards has been at the Day Nursery since it first opened in 2003. She is a key worker in the toddler's room and has seen the children thrive and the nursery prosper during her time there.
Lindsay Fleming, again a key worker, works in the toddler's room and brings her enthusiasm to the activities enjoyed by the young children in her care.
