The Heathfield Educational Trust is delighted to confirm that work will start on the first phase of a four-phase classroom improvement plan on May 14th. Phase one is a six room block which will be sited on the far side of Pre-School and will be for Reception, J1 and J2. The building will be prepared for the latest ICT provision and includes a library area.
Local architects Godwin Austen Johnson and building contractor Thomas Vale Construction have been appointed to design and build the new development which is due for completion in November. Headmaster Mr. Brierly says "Everyone has worked very hard to develop an affordable, yet thoroughly modern new facility. The Andrews Building has served the School extremely well over the years but the time has come for change. We will have a facility which will excite pupils, staff and parents."
