Heathfield Senior School – Pastoral Care

We want your son or daughter to feel safe and happy at Heathfield School, which is why pastoral care is so important and has consistently been seen as a very strong feature of the school. There will always be somewhere for them to go when they need support.

By the time your child reaches the Senior School, he or she will have formed strong relationships with staff members. New entrants respond quickly and positively to the culture within the Senior School. Bonds of mutual trust, understanding and respect are formed which allow us to be sensitive to your child's needs as they grow into young adults and life becomes necessarily more complicated. In their turn, senior pupils act as role models for the younger pupils and they embrace and enjoy that responsibility.
